We prioritize individual interests when selecting research themes

In our research lab, we primarily focus on human behavior and daily life, conducting interdisciplinary studies on health data analysis, natural language processing, and the utilization of blockchain technology. However, we are open to accommodating personal preferences in theme selection, even in fields beyond those mentioned. We strive to avoid restricting your choice of themes as much as possible, so please feel free to consult with us about areas of interest outside the ones mentioned above.

We provide support for studying abroad, internships, and graduate school admissions

Even when pursuing careers that leverage skills such as engineering, the diverse perspectives and cultural exchange gained through studying abroad are invaluable. Engaging in practical work through internships not only facilitates skill acquisition but also provides an excellent opportunity to learn about social etiquette and more. Additionally, whether or not one holds a master’s or doctoral degree significantly impacts their career trajectory after graduation. Therefore, in our research lab, we strive to support individuals in their aspirations for studying abroad, internships, and graduate school according to their preferences.

No special skills are required upon assignment to the seminar


If you have a solid understanding of programming languages learned in previous courses, the cost of acquiring proficiency in new languages is relatively low. Additionally, the required skills for research vary depending on the chosen theme. Therefore, during the assignment, a review and understanding of previous courses would be sufficient. Programming languages (such as Java, C, C++, Python, Go, PHP, Ruby, etc.) and integrated development environments/tools (such as Eclipse, VS Code, R, etc.) will be guided according to your interests and preferences.
